Gallery showcases established local, national and international artists with an emphasis on printmaking. The print studio, established in 2005, offers courses and workshops in safer etching techniques and is NZ’s first and only studio dedicated to acrylic resist etching.
Gallery visitors get to see works by Mark Graver RE and other established international printmakers and NZ ceramic artists. They can also walk a 1km art trail through Wharepuke’s subtropical Garden of National Significance.
Small group courses and workshops in safer etching techniques are offered in the studio. They are tailored to suit dates and times and can include on-site accommodation if necessary. No previous experience is needed.
