Rangitoto / Windsor Landing Boat Ramp
Location: Off Kerikeri Inlet Road, approximately 10km east of central Kerikeri

Located on the southern side of the Kerikeri Inlet, this public concrete ramp has a jetty, floating pontoon and dedicated parking for cars and boat trailers. Its sheltered position makes it a convenient launching point for reaching the inlet and the wider Bay of Islands.

Ōpito Bay Boat Ramp
Location: At the eastern end of Ōpito Bay Road, Ōpito Bay

Around 15–20 minutes from central Kerikeri, Ōpito Bay is a popular gateway to the Bay of Islands. The public concrete ramp is located beside the beach, with trailer parking nearby. It can become busy during summer and holiday periods, so allow extra time and be considerate of residents and other ramp users.

Rangitāne Boat Ramp
Location: Rangitāne Loop Road, Rangitāne

This local ramp and jetty provide access to the northern side of the Kerikeri Inlet. The existing ramp is narrow and steep, with limited roadside parking, so it is generally better suited to smaller boats and experienced users. A public reserve and toilets are located nearby.

Waipapa Landing Boat Ramp
Address: 109 Landing Road, Kerikeri

Just a few kilometres from the town centre, Waipapa Landing is a picturesque spot on the Kerikeri River. The ramp is best suited to kayaks, dinghies and smaller craft rather than larger trailer boats, although they can launch from here subject to tides. Shaded picnic areas and the peaceful riverside setting also make it a lovely place to stop and relax.

Doves Bay Marina
Address: 346 Ōpito Bay Road, Kerikeri

Doves Bay Marina is home to the Kerikeri Cruising Club and has two concrete launching ramps. These are privately managed facilities, so visitors should contact the marina or cruising club before arriving to confirm access, charges and current conditions.

Before you launch
Conditions and facilities can change, and some ramps are affected by the tide. Check the weather, marine forecast and tide times before heading out. During busy periods, prepare your boat away from the ramp, keep launching time to a minimum and park only in designated areas.
